Memoroll

Terms of use

Updated November 6, 2026

These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Memoroll app for iPhone (the “App”) and of the memorollapp.com website (the “Site”), published by DECKFUSE. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. They supplement Apple’s standard license agreement, which applies to every app downloaded from the App Store.

1. Publisher

The Site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States (+1 888 993 5273).

2. The service

Memoroll is a camera for iPhone. You create rolls, pick each roll’s camera, meaning the look of a film that the App recreates, and your photos and videos land in them already developed. The App runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later.

Memoroll has no account and no server of ours: your photos and videos stay on your iPhone and, if iCloud sync is on, in your iCloud. The Privacy page explains it in detail.

3. Your right to use the App

DECKFUSE grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the App for private purposes, on Apple devices you own or control, within the limits of Apple’s license agreement. You agree not to use the App in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others, and not to try to get around its technical limits, including those of the free plan.

4. Free plan and Memoroll Pro

Memoroll is free, with 3 rolls, unlimited photos and videos, every camera and every accessory. Memoroll Pro adds unlimited rolls, changing a roll’s camera afterwards and importing photos from your photo library.

Memoroll Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, yearly with a 7-day free trial, or monthly. Prices are shown with taxes included in the App and on the App Store, in your currency.

If Pro ends, nothing is deleted: you keep all your rolls and all your photos. Rolls created beyond the 3 free ones are paused: they stay visible with their photos, but take no new photos until Pro is back.

5. Your photos and videos

Your photos and videos are yours. DECKFUSE has no access to them, doesn’t use them and acquires no rights over them. You’re responsible for what you shoot and what you share, including the image rights of the people in your photos.

Your backup depends on your iCloud account and its free space. To keep a copy elsewhere, save your rolls to your photo library: each one gets its own album there.

6. Intellectual property

The App, the Site, the Memoroll name and logo, the texts, the icons and the camera looks belong to DECKFUSE or its licensors. Copying or reusing them without permission is not allowed, except as the licenses below permit.

7. Credits

The looks of the Color 400, Portrait 160, Pastel 400, Golden, Slide 100, Cine 8 and Neon 800 cameras are derived from spektrafilm, by Andrea Volpato (github.com/andreavolpato/spektrafilm), under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, and modified by Memoroll. These modified looks are shared under the same license.

Fraunces, Geist and Geist Mono fonts, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

8. Changes to the service

The App evolves: features may be added, changed or removed. If DECKFUSE discontinues the App, your photos and videos stay on your iPhone and in your iCloud, and you can still save them to your photo library.

9. Liability

We do our best to make Memoroll work well and lose nothing, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, DECKFUSE isn’t liable for data loss caused by the device, the iCloud account or a deletion made by the user. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under the law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.

10. Personal data

How Memoroll handles (or rather doesn’t handle) your data is described on the Privacy page.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first at [email protected] and we’ll look for an amicable solution. Failing an agreement, the courts designated by law have jurisdiction. If you live outside France, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change as the App evolves; the date at the top shows the latest version. If an important change affects you, we’ll tell you in the App or on the Site.
